Sibros is excited to announce that Automotive Veteran and EV Pioneer Peter Savagian is joining our advisory board!
Pete currently leads engineering at Ampaire, a startup that is electrifying aviation. He has been in the automotive industry for more than 25 years and has served in an executive role at companies such as GM and Faraday Future. Pete was the Chief Engineer for GM’s EV1 powertrain and Architect of Chevy Volt’s propulsion system. Pete’s pioneering work in the automotive industry resulted in the first modern electric vehicle, the first Plug-in Hybrid EV, as well as several other HEVs, PHEVs, and EVs.
In taking on the advisor role at Sibros, Pete stressed the importance of what Sibros is building:
“I believe that the Sibros platform will be a critical piece of the puzzle for the success of all vehicles going forward. Many of the vehicles out on the road now have hundreds of microcontrollers with more than a 100 million lines of code. Sibros will play a key role in solving business problems for vehicle manufacturers, reducing the time to market for connected vehicles, opening doors for new opportunities and refining existing business models.”
